Terms and conditions
25 October 2026
1. Who you are buying from
These terms apply to everything sold or booked on this website. The seller is:
Kaffeparken EcoRolfsgatan 6B, 214 34 Malmö, Sweden
070-710 13 39
hej@kaffeparken.se (orders, bookings and returns)
info@kaffeparken.se (wholesale, press, privacy and legal)
Kaffeparken Eco is a Swedish sole trader (enskild näringsidkare). By placing an order or a booking you accept these terms. We sell to consumers and to businesses; where a clause applies only to consumers, or only to businesses, it says so. The terms in force on the day you order apply to that order.
2. Prices and payment
All prices are in Swedish kronor and include VAT (moms). Coffee is food and carries the food rate of VAT, currently 6%. Sweden has temporarily cut the food rate from 12% to 6% for sales from 1 April 2026 to 31 December 2027; your order uses the rate in force on the day you order. Delivery costs are shown before you pay.
When we reduce a price, we also show the lowest price the item had in the 30 days before the reduction.
We accept Klarna and card. Payment is taken when you place the order. Klarna's own terms also apply to payments made through Klarna.
If a price is clearly wrong we contact you before sending anything, and you may cancel at no cost.
3. Your order
You get an email confirming your order once payment has gone through. The agreement between us is made when that confirmation is sent. Keep it: it has your order number and a link to follow the order.
4. Delivery
We deliver within Sweden with PostNord and DHL, or you can collect your order from the roastery for free.
| Delivery | Total |
|---|---|
| Home or parcel point delivery, 500 kr+ | Free |
| Home or parcel point delivery | 59 kr |
| Pick up at the roastery | Free |
Coffee is roasted to order. Your order is roasted, packed and handed to the carrier within 48 hours on working days, and delivery within Sweden normally takes a further one to three working days. The goods are our responsibility until you, or someone you have named, receive them.
If a parcel is late, contact us and we chase the carrier. If we have not delivered within 30 days of your order, you may give us a reasonable extra period to deliver, and cancel the order for a full refund if we miss it.
Wholesale lots (30 kg and more) are arranged individually. Talk to us before ordering so the delivery can be planned.
5. Right of withdrawal (ångerrätt), for consumers
As a consumer you may withdraw from a purchase within 14 days, under the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (lag (2005:59) om distansavtal och avtal utanför affärslokaler). The 14 days start on the day you receive the goods. If an order arrives in several parcels, they start on the day the last one arrives.
How to withdraw. Tell us clearly within the 14 days. The quickest way is the "Withdraw from contract here" form on our returns page, also linked from the footer of every page: it sends us your withdrawal and emails you a receipt with the time we received it. An email to hej@kaffeparken.se with your order number works too, and so does the standard withdrawal form on the same page, but you do not have to use either.
Sending the goods back. Return them within 14 days of telling us. You pay the return postage.
Your refund. We refund everything you paid, including our standard delivery charge, within 14 days of receiving your notice, to the payment method you used and at no cost to you. We may wait to refund until the goods are back with us or you have shown that you have sent them, whichever comes first. If you chose a more expensive delivery than our standard one, we refund only the standard cost.
You may open a parcel and look at the goods as you would in a shop. If you handle them more than that and their value falls, we may deduct the loss from the refund.
When the right of withdrawal does not apply
- Opened bags. Coffee is food, delivered in sealed bags. A bag whose seal has been broken cannot be returned, for health and hygiene reasons. Unopened bags can.
- Goods made to your own specification. This applies only where we tell you so clearly before you order, for example a blend made to your own recipe. Roast profiles, grinds and sizes chosen from our menu are standard options, so they can be returned unopened like any other bag.
- Sessions, courses and events on a fixed date. See section 6.
6. Roasting sessions, courses and events
A booking is confirmed when we email you. The price, what is included and how to pay are in the description of the offer and in that email.
Because sessions, courses and events are leisure services on a fixed date, the right of withdrawal does not apply to them (Distance Contracts Act, chapter 2, section 11). Instead, these cancellation rules apply:
- Cancel or move your booking at least 7 days before, and we refund in full or move it to another date.
- Later than that, we do not refund, but you may give your place to someone else. Tell us their name.
- If we have to cancel, you choose a full refund or a new date.
Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the day they are issued.
7. Faulty goods (reklamation)
Separately from the right of withdrawal, as a consumer you can complain about a fault for three years from delivery, under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (konsumentköplagen (2022:260)). A fault that shows within two years of delivery is presumed to have existed when you received the goods, unless we show otherwise. Tell us within a reasonable time of noticing it; within two months is always reasonable.
Email hej@kaffeparken.se with your order number and what is wrong; a photo helps. We reply within five working days. If the complaint is justified we repair, replace or refund, and pay the return postage.
Coffee is perishable. If a bag arrives damaged, stale or not as described, tell us as soon as you notice.
8. If we cannot agree
Contact us first; most problems are solved by email. If we still disagree, you can take the matter to the National Board for Consumer Disputes, Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN), Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, www.arn.se. We follow ARN's recommendations. For free consumer advice, contact Hallå konsument or Malmö stad's consumer adviser.
9. Business customers
For businesses, including wholesale lots, the Swedish Sale of Goods Act (köplagen (1990:931)) applies instead of the consumer rules above, and there is no right of withdrawal. Check deliveries on arrival and tell us of any fault within a reasonable time. Delivery, payment terms and invoicing for wholesale are agreed in writing for each order.
10. Storing your coffee
Roasted coffee is at its best in the weeks after roasting, and every bag carries the date it was roasted. Keep it sealed, cool, dry and out of the sun. Green coffee keeps for 12 to 18 months in the same conditions.
11. Your personal data
How we handle your data is described in our privacy notice.
12. Governing law
Swedish law applies. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under mandatory Swedish or EU law.
